Muncie, IN—Minnetrista Museum & Gardens will host two unique opportunities to meet New York Times bestselling author Kelsey Timmerman and explore the themes of his latest book, Regenerating Earth: Farmers Working with Nature to Feed Our Future. From a casual Saturday morning book signing at the Farmers Market to a lantern-lit evening of conversation and music in the Rose Garden, guests are invited to connect with Timmerman’s work in ways both intimate and inspiring.
Saturday, August 23–Farmers Market Book Signing
From 9 a.m. to noon on the Wishing Well Lawn, visitors to the Farmers Market can meet Timmerman, purchase Regenerating Earth for $30 at The Orchard Shop, and have their copy signed. Known for his immersive storytelling, Timmerman’s work brings readers face-to-face with the people behind the products they consume, making global issues feel deeply personal. Guests who purchase the book during the signing will receive a special discount code for The Garden Social book launch event held on August 25.
Monday, August 25–The Garden Social: Regenerating Earth Book Launch
From 5–7 p.m., the celebration continues on Minnetrista’s Rose Garden Patio with an evening of sustainability, community, and live music. Guests can savor artisanal charcuterie while enjoying an engaging Q&A with Timmerman. Signature cocktails, mocktails, Guardian beers, and Woodbridge wine will all be available at a cash bar. As lanterns glow and summer blooms surround the patio, local singer-songwriter Cliff Ritchey will join Timmerman, weaving songs into the evening’s stories. Books will be available for purchase and signing throughout the event—an ideal keepsake from this special two-day experience.
"I'm so excited to have Kelsey share his incredible stories with our community," said Katadyn Connerley, Director of Business Development at Minnetrista. "His work aligns so well with what we love supporting here—creating meaningful experiences for people in our beautiful gardens! Whether you catch him at the market or join us for our garden event, I just know you'll leave feeling genuinely inspired and connected to something bigger."
