Individuals that are 70.5 or older and must take required minimum distributions from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) may donate using this method. Your IRA manager can make a check payable to Minnetrista and forward that check directly to us. Donations you make using this method will count towards your total minimum distribution and will not have to be counted as income in the year given, reducing your income tax liability.

Donating appreciated securities is an easy way to make a gift in support of Minnetrista. We will receive funds from selling the donated investments, and you will receive a charitable deduction based on the value of the investment when donated.

Donating cryptocurrencies is the newest way to provide financial support to Minnetrista’s mission. We will receive funds from liquidating donated investments, and you will receive a charitable deduction based on the USD value of the currencies at the time of donation.

Whether you shop at Pay Less, Ruler, or any Kroger location nationwide, your everyday purchases will make a difference. Plus, you only need to sign up once, and using your Kroger card at other affiliated stores like Kroger, Pay Less Super Markets, Ruler Foods, Jay C Food Store, Mariano’s, and more will also help support Minnetrista Museum & Gardens.
To participate, visit Kroger Community Rewards and choose Minnetrista Museum & Gardens as your nonprofit of choice. If you don’t already have a Kroger Rewards account, you’ll need to create one to enroll.

When you choose to make a legacy gift to Minnetrista, you help ensure that our museum and gardens will continue to be available to future generations of visitors. A variety of estate giving options are available, giving you the flexibility to manage your assets in a way that makes the most financial sense for you and your family, while allowing you to meet your charitable giving goals.
Our staff is happy to work with you and your financial advisor, tax professional, or family attorney to determine how a legacy gift to Minnetrista fits into your long-term financial plans.

This is the simplest planned gift, requiring only that you include gift language in your will or trust, allocating the gift from your estate for the benefit of Minnetrista. Assets remain yours during your lifetime, and no minimum gift is required.
Bequest gifts examples include:
A specific sum of money
A percentage of the estate
A specific asset
The remainder or percentage of the estate that remains after other beneficiaries have received their bequests.
To include Minnetrista in your will or trust, you can use the following language:
I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to Minnetrista Cultural Foundation <insert dollar amount, percentage of estate, specific asset> to be used for its general purposes.

Name Minnetrista Cultural Foundation as the full or partial beneficiary of a life insurance policy. A low cost to you can yield a large gift to the organization, and no minimum gift amount is required.
