A Night of Flavor and Community at the 14th Annual Soup Crawl

The 14th Annual Soup Crawl was another memorable night in Downtown Muncie! Hosted by PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union and Second Harvest Food Bank, this beloved community event brought together local restaurants, caterers, nonprofits, and soup lovers for an evening filled with delicious flavors and an important cause: fighting hunger in our community.

Minnetrista was proud to take part in this year’s Soup Crawl, with our hospitality team, led by Senior Hospitality Manager Dulcie Holcomb, bringing their culinary talents to the celebration. The event was a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect with fellow local food professionals and community members while supporting Second Harvest Food Bank and its work to fight hunger in our community.

This year’s competition came down to the wire, with Westminster Village and A Team Party Parlor & Catering battling it out for the top spot. After the final ballots were counted, Westminster Village pulled ahead by just two votes to claim first place!

Congratulations to A Team Party Parlor & Catering on their second-place finish and to Queer Chocolatier, who rounded out the podium with a fantastic third-place finish. With so many talented local participants serving up their best recipes, this year’s Soup Crawl was a true celebration of the creativity and generosity found throughout our community.

Since its start in 2011, Soup Crawl has helped provide hundreds of thousands of meals for neighbors in need through Second Harvest Food Bank. The event continues to bring people together around good food while supporting the important work of addressing hunger and food insecurity in our community.

We are grateful to everyone who participated, attended, voted, volunteered, and helped make the 14th Annual Soup Crawl such a success. Events like this are a wonderful reminder of what can happen when our community comes together around a shared purpose.

And, of course, a special thank-you to Second Harvest Food Bank for the incredible work they do year-round to help ensure our neighbors have access to the food they need. We are proud to be part of an event that combines great food, community spirit, and meaningful impact.
