Boo-levard Bash Returns to Minnetrista with a Brand-New Second Night
Halloween took over Minnetrista once again this October as Boo-levard Bash returned for another evening of trick-or-treating, costumes, fall fun, and community connection. This year, however, there was even more to experience with the introduction of a brand-new second night: Haunted Trail & Market.
Together, the two-night celebration offered two different ways to experience Halloween at Minnetrista. Boo-levard Bash, held on October 2, welcomed guests of all ages for a free evening of trick-or-treating along Minnetrista Boulevard, while Haunted Trail & Market on October 3 invited guests ages 13 and older to explore Oakhurst Gardens after dark.
A Halloween Tradition for Everyone
Boo-levard Bash transformed Minnetrista Boulevard and the surrounding campus into a festive Halloween destination. Families arrived in costumes ranging from classic characters to creative homemade creations, ready to collect treats and enjoy an evening together.
The trick-or-treat trail stretched throughout campus, giving guests the opportunity to visit community partners, explore Minnetrista’s historic grounds, and experience the gardens in a whole new way. Candy, decorations, costumes, and plenty of Halloween spirit filled the evening as families made their way from stop to stop.
For many guests, the evening was about more than trick-or-treating. It was a chance to spend time together, make memories, and experience the magic of Halloween in a beautiful setting.
A New Night of Halloween Fun
This year, Minnetrista expanded the Halloween celebration with the introduction of Haunted Trail & Market on October 3.
The new second night brought a different kind of Halloween experience to campus. As darkness settled over Oakhurst Gardens, the Haunted Trail invited guests ages 13 and older to venture through the gardens after dark, while the Market offered an opportunity to browse and enjoy the evening before or after taking on the trail.
With the addition of Haunted Trail & Market, Minnetrista was able to offer Halloween experiences for different ages and interests while extending the celebration to two nights.
From Family-Friendly to Frightfully Fun
While Boo-levard Bash centered on a free, family-friendly trick-or-treating experience, Haunted Trail & Market brought a little more mystery and fright to the campus.
The two nights showcased the versatility of Minnetrista’s grounds and created new ways for our community to experience the campus after dark. From little ghosts and superheroes collecting candy along the Boulevard to older guests navigating the Haunted Trail, Halloween looked a little different depending on which night you joined us.
