Every summer, Oakhurst Gardens transforms into a place where imagination feels real. Trees shimmer with enchanted lights, whimsical characters roam winding paths, and families of all ages step into a world where magic hides around every corner.

This year's Faeries, Sprites, & Lights once again filled Oakhurst Gardens with wonder, welcoming thousands of guests for three magical evenings and a special sensory-friendly experience designed to ensure everyone could experience the enchantment at their own pace.

But the magic didn't begin when the garden gates opened.

Preparing for the Magic

The journey to Faeries, Sprites, & Lights began weeks earlier as families gathered to create their own pieces of the faerie world.

During our Faerie House Workshop, imaginations took flight as participants transformed simple materials into charming miniature homes worthy of the tiniest woodland residents. Covered in colorful faux flowers, whimsical decorations, and personal touches, each handcrafted house reflected its creator's unique vision of where a faerie might choose to live.

One week later, guests returned for the Faerie Tea Party, where children and adults alike arrived dressed in sparkling wings, flower crowns, and magical attire. Friends gathered for tea, sweet treats, games, and crafts while laughter filled the Wishing Well Lawn. It was the perfect opportunity for young faeries, sprites, and woodland adventurers to prepare for the magical celebration waiting just around the corner.

Entering an Enchanted World

When Faeries, Sprites, & Lights officially opened, Oakhurst Gardens became a storybook brought to life.

Twinkling lights guided guests through winding garden paths as magical surprises appeared around every bend. Families explored whimsical displays, discovered hidden faerie villages nestled among the flowers, and encountered delightful characters eager to welcome visitors into their enchanted world.

Throughout the gardens, children laughed their way through hands-on activities, creative crafts, interactive games, and memorable encounters that encouraged everyone to embrace their imagination.

A Night Filled with Wonder

The magic extended far beyond the pathways.

Live entertainment filled the gardens with music while guests danced, explored, and made memories together beneath the summer sky. Families paused to capture photos at enchanting displays, searched for magical details hidden throughout Oakhurst Gardens, and enjoyed faerie-inspired treats that added an extra touch of whimsy to the evening.

The Orchard Shop helped visitors complete their magical transformations with sparkling wings, whimsical accessories, and keepsakes that allowed the enchantment to continue long after the evening came to an end.

Every corner of Oakhurst Gardens invited guests to slow down, explore, and believe—if only for a little while—that magic might truly exist.

While severe weather forced us to cancel our Saturday evening festivities, we were grateful to welcome so many guests back for our rescheduled celebration on Sunday. Thank you to everyone for your patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm. Your support helped ensure the magic continued, and we were thrilled to share one more enchanted afternoon together.
