Muncie, IN—Every summer, Oakhurst Gardens transforms into a magical realm where imagination reigns and the spirit of childhood takes flight. Inspired by young Elisabeth “Betty” Ball—who once roamed these very grounds in faerie wings and glittering joy—Faeries, Sprites, & Lights invites families to rediscover the enchantment that lives in all of us.

From July 24–26, faerie fans of all ages are encouraged to don their most whimsical attire and enter a world alive with fantasy. Each evening from 5–9 p.m., guests will enjoy live music, theatre performances, crafts, games, a bubble garden, and surprise encounters with faeries. Charming bites and fairy-approved refreshments will be available to keep your wings fluttering into the night.

A special sensory-friendly experience will take place on Saturday, July 26 from 12:30–3:30 p.m., designed with care for guests who benefit from a calmer atmosphere. Enjoy gentle music, flexible theatre experiences, and a peaceful walk through the faerie-filled gardens. We’re grateful to Interlock ECI for sponsoring this inclusive session.

The celebration begins early with two enchanting pre-festival events:

🧚🏠 Faerie House Workshop: July 12 from 2–4 p.m.—Build your own enchanted miniature home.

☕✨ Faerie Tea Party: July 20 from 2–4 p.m.—Join fellow faeries for tea, treats, fanciful activities, and magical surprises.

Public pre-sale tickets go on sale June 11 for $12, or $10 for Minnetrista members. Gate admission is $13, and children 2 and under are always free. Visit minnetrista.net/faeries-sprites-lights to purchase tickets.

Don’t forget to visit The Orchard Shop for faerie wings, event tees, and other magical mementos!

Parking will be available at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
