Welcome to Camp Cold Creek—or as it’s ominously referred to by the campers—Camp Cryptid. Now, you may be asking yourself, “Why ‘Camp Cryptid’?” or even “What is a cryptid?” A cryptid is a creature from stories or that people claim to have seen but have no substantial scientific proof of its existence. Some such creatures include Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and mermaids.

Camp legend speaks of a creature—or creatures—that lurk in the woods surrounding the campground and terrorize campers in the night. Rest assured, however, our trusty Camp Caretaker promises that there are no such cryptids at Camp Cold Creek. Instead, you’ll enjoy cool dips in the captivating creek, magical moonlit strolls, and beautiful local wildlife. Campers are sure to learn all about the animals that call our community home and test their courage as they hike through the dark forest. Just don’t wander too far from camp.

Mystery Guests will become the most recent batch of campers at our exclusive summer camp. Armed with a cocktail (or mocktail), a flashlight, and your wits, you’ll be tasked with working together to solve the mystery of disappearing campers before you go missing yourself. You’ll meet Camp Counselors who will help you explore the campground and surrounding forest to gather clues. The real question is, Are you brave enough to solve the mystery of Camp Cryptid?

Set in the Good Night Forest exhibition, this mystery is sure to delight fans of ’80s horror, Goosebumps books, and Scooby-Doo alike. Start your spooky season off right with two opportunities to experience the mystery: September 19 and 20 from 6:30–9:30 p.m. Your ticket includes a complimentary signature cocktail or mocktail, a selection of hors d’oeuvres, and an evening of sleuthing.
