Keith Roysdon, an award-winning journalist and longtime Star Press reporter and editor, is the author and co-author of several acclaimed books about Muncie history and true crime. His recent novels, That October and Seven Angels, blend mystery, suspense, and richly drawn characters, taking readers from a fictionalized Muncie to a small Tennessee town where justice hangs in the balance.

Jill Blocker, a Ball State University graduate and former Star Press intern, is the author of What Was Beautiful and Good and Happily After Ever. Her newest novel follows a young American navigating love, heartbreak, and self-discovery while building a life abroad, offering a thoughtful exploration of what it means to love and belong in an increasingly connected world.
