Muncie, IN— Discover the joy of giving back while exploring all that Minnetrista Museum & Gardens has to offer! Join us for a Volunteer Open House on Saturday, September 27, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Indiana Room.

Whether you have a green thumb, a passion for art and history, or simply love connecting with people, volunteering at Minnetrista opens the door to new friendships, meaningful experiences, and opportunities to make a real difference in your community.

At this free open-house style event, guests will meet Minnetrista staff and current volunteers from a wide range of departments—including gardens, collections, visitor experience, programs, and more. Attendees will learn how their unique skills can support exhibitions, public gardens, special events, and even Camp Minnetrista for children. With so many opportunities available, there’s truly a role for everyone. Preregistration is encouraged to help us prepare for your visit.

Light refreshments will be served while participants connect with the Minnetrista team and explore volunteer opportunities that match their talents and schedules. Everyone is welcome—bring a friend, ask questions, and imagine yourself as part of a vibrant community dedicated to creativity, learning, and belonging.

As a special thank-you, all attendees will receive free admission to Minnetrista for the day—a perfect chance to enjoy the gardens, galleries, and the ever-popular Bob Ross Experience following the event.
