New Year, New Minnetrista

It may only be the second week of January, but at Minnetrista, our creative team is already busy crafting and planning new programs for friends and families to enjoy this year.

Being able to provide unique programming that engages every member of your family or group is what we are striving for. We do not want your 12-year-old to be bored while your 3-year-old is having fun, or for you to feel like you’re just watching. We think it is more fun when the whole family’s absorbed in what’s going on.

We’re continuing to partner with different organizations in the community to bring you all great activities. Activities, like Oakhurst Special Saturdays, where friends and families can explore Oakhurst home every fourth Saturday of the month, are essential for Minnetrista this year. 

I say essential, because this year, Minnetrista will begin to lay the groundwork for our five-year strategic plan, of which you all are our focus. Together, you can discover an expansion to our Tea & Talk series; a third night of fun during Faeries, Sprites, & Lights; new recipes and designs to create in our canning and glass workshops; and even new topics to enjoy during Senior Free-Admission Days! 

Like I said, it’s only the second week of January, but at Minnetrista, it’s shaping up to be a fun and great year. Join us as we begin to lay the groundwork for new and meaningful activities, and share with you, our new goals and priorities.
