Do It Yourself: Faerie Garden in a Ball Jar

It’s that magical time of year when the faeries return to Minnetrista! Capture some of this magic by building your own faerie garden in a jar.

Supplies:

• Ball jar

• Decorative moss

• Decorative rock

• Small figurines

• Glitter

• Scissors

Directions

Step 1: Cut a piece of decorative moss large enough to cover the bottom of the jar. You may need to add a few more pieces to make it look fuller.

Step 2: Place decorative rocks over the moss.

Step 3: Insert your figurine. We used a faerie in the video, but also made some jars with small frogs and mushrooms.

Step 4: Sprinkle glitter – or faerie dust – over everything.The possibilities are endless for this project! Find different figurines or decorations to create your personalized garden in a jar.
