Bone Zone

September 27–January 6

Grades K–5 

The head bone is connected to the neck bone, the neck bone is connected to the…well, you get the idea! This tour is full of fun and physical activities to help students understand more about their bones, how they work and how to keep them fit!

 

What will my students do?

K–2

Explore The Bone Zone Carnival of Healthy Choices exhibit

Participate in various bone strengthening exercises

Assemble a model skeleton system

Investigate how our bones work

3–5

Explore and discuss the Bone Zone exhibit

We can keep our bones healthy through everyday exercises, actions and choices

Individual bones come together to create one skeletal system
