Become a Raindrop, Change Your World. Visit Water’s Extreme Journey at Minnetrista!

Muncie, IN— Introduce and engage children to an exciting and important quest for clean water in the exhibit, Water’s Extreme Journey, which opens on August 30 at Minnetrista.

“I am excited about Water’s Extreme Journey, as it raises awareness for an important topic. The White River plays such a prominent role in our community and on the Minnetrista campus,” said Rebecca Gilliam, vice president, Visitor Experience.

Developed with world-renowned, marine-life artist Wyland, Water’s Extreme Journey brings you a first-hand exploration of the science behind the water cycle.

“Understanding our watershed and how our actions impact the water quality around us is vital to the community and the world’s resources,” said Gilliam.

Your family and friends experience the watershed as a water drop and voyage through rivers, lakes, wetlands, and even our homes, eventually reaching the healthy ocean.

But it’s not all wet and wild—through powerful interactives and local messaging, you can find out how daily decisions can immediately improve the watershed in your own backyard.

Water’s Extreme Journey opens on August 30 at Minnetrista. Visit the exhibit from Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, FREE for members.
