Explore the Ball family’s history with friends at Tea & Talk at Minnetrista: World’s Fair!

Muncie, IN—Spend an afternoon at Tea & Talk at Minnetrista: World’s Fair on Wednesday, August 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.! Discover World’s Fair memorabilia from the Minnetrista Heritage Collection. Enjoy finger foods and refreshments with friends as you hear the exciting story of the Ball canning contest from the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair.

As you and your friends chat and sip tea, explore how the Ball brothers’ innovations influenced the community and the World’s Fair.

“We will explore photos and objects from fairs that have a distinct connection to our East Central Indiana heritage,” said Allison Schroer, Visitor Experience manager at Minnetrista, “We’ll also hear from our Education Manager on how that same spirit is alive in our region today!”
