Friends and family kick-off the garden season at Garden Fair at Minnetrista

Muncie, IN– On your mark, get set, garden! Garden enthusiasts, home-growers, and horticulture vendors gather on June 1 and 2 to celebrate everything that’s green during Garden Fair at Minnetrista!

Thousands of visitors come to Garden Fair each year to explore more than thirty-five one-of-a-kind, local vendor booths providing a variety of plants, herbs, gardening supplies and décor, yard ornaments, fountains, bird baths, butterfly feeders, outdoor pottery, and wind chimes. Discover extraordinary deals on colorful flowers, quality gardening tools, and unique decorations to give you a head-start on your summer gardening.

Enjoy food and refreshments, Minnetrista garden and home tours, family activities, and advice from horticulture specialists from all corners of East Central Indiana. Guest speakers will be on site both days, providing visitors with helpful tips on a variety of topics. Featured Garden Fair speaker, Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp, will present “Where the Wild Things Are: How to Plant for Attracting Wild Animals to Your Garden” on Saturday at 1 p.m.

You and your family can explore beyond Garden Fair, with free admission to current Minnetrista exhibits for children age twelve and under with a paying adult. Kids can also participate in a garden-themed adventure activity—leading them on a nature discovery with friends!

Garden Fair at Minnetrista is a free community event on Saturday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by Farmers Market at Minnetrista next door, on June 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., to discover even more unique finds!

Meet friendly people; get tips from horticulture experts; and spend time with the entire family during two days of outdoor fun!
