Wander Minnetrista’s serene, picturesque gardens in celebration of National Public Gardens Day

Muncie, IN– Minnetrista celebrates National Public Gardens Day on May 10! Soak in the beauty of Minnetrista’s many outdoor garden spaces; wander the flower-lined pathways at Oakhurst; and spend time in the Nature Area with family and friends.

Minnetrista’s crisp, green lawns, enchanting brick trails, and colorful spring blossoms take center stage as visitors from far and wide are invited to experience over forty acres of gardens and grounds. Enjoy a picnic with your family, play Frisbee on the Greensward lawn, take a hike along the Nature Area trails, discover fish and tadpoles in the natural ponds, or snap some photos of the ever-present wildlife. The beautiful scenery is open to visitors all day long!

Minnetrista is also offering free admission to the exhibit galleries on Friday, May 10 in honor of National Public Gardens Day, for seniors age sixty and older during Senior Free-Admission Day. Guided garden tours led by Minnetrista horticulture experts are available for seniors beginning at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Senior Free-Admission Days are sponsored by Westminster Village Muncie.
