Gingerbread Family Workshop
December 15; 10 a.m.–Noon
You supply the creativity, and we supply the gingerbread, icing, and candy! Explore the fun of making a sugary masterpiece with your entire family, and leave with a colorful treat to display at home! Cost: $25/gingerbread house. Registration Deadline: December 10
Camp Minnetrista: Dino Days—Countdown to Ice Age!
January 2 & 3; 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Explore the world of dinosaurs at Minnetrista this winter break! Campers will enjoy building their own dinosaur, digging for fossils, making plaster footprints, and creating personalized Ice Art! Cost: $35/day. Registration Deadline: December 27
Glass Workshop: Holiday Fused Glass Plate
December 6; 6–9 p.m. & December 13; 6–8 p.m.
Fusing and slumping glass with a kiln is fun! Design your own holiday dish—great for a couple of cookies for Santa or a handful of candies for guests! Plan to attend both sessions in order to complete the project. Cost: $25. Registration deadline: November 29
Farmers Market at Minnetrista: Indoor Winter Market
December 15; 9 a.m.-Noon
Incredible vendors, produce, and goods move indoors for the winter months. Enjoy a hot cup of cocoa or java with friends and family while you shop, and browse The Center Shop and Orchard Shop at Minnetrista to find that unique holiday gift! Try free samples of select goods during the market! Cost: FREE

Every day at 11:30 p.m. & 3 p.m.
Take a stroll along Minnetrista Boulevard to learn about the Ball homes’ history and architecture. This is an outdoor tour with a visit inside the G. A. Ball home.

Kids of all ages—explore your world; find fascinating things, and tell Casey about it! Use Casey’s exploration tools and become a Casey’s Clubhouse Explorer! Great for homeschool families too!

Dinosaur Revolution: Live Large
October 20–January 27
Uncover the facts and fossils about dinosaurs as you LIVE LARGE in reptilian role-play activities, undertake three Mesozoic Missions spanning 150 million years and mimic dinosaur behavior. Become a junior paleontologist and find evidence of your dinosaur doings; learn why dinosaurs are one of the most successful survivors in earth's history; and unearth a shocking discovery: dinosaurs may not be extinct! This exhibition is produced and traveled by Minotaur Mazes.
Thoreau’s Walden: A Journey in Photographs by Scot Miller
November 10–February 10, 2013
Retrace transcendentalist Henry David Thoreau’s footsteps during his years of living a life of simplicity and solitude in Walden Woods. Scot Miller’s photography highlights the journey taken by Thoreau more than one hundred and fifty years ago, carrying the message of personal appreciation of nature, stewardship, and conservation. Presented by the Harvard Museum of Natural History. Educational material provided by the Walden Woods Project and tour management provided by Cincinnati Museum Center.
