Minnetrista invites families to experience a day of dinosaur-themed fun!

Muncie, INóBring the entire family to a day of dinosaur exploration and discovery, Saturday, November 10! Family Fun Day at Minnetrista: Dino Day is packed with exciting and interactive activities from fossil making to meeting a real paleontologist!

Your family will be transported back to the dinosaur age at Minnetrista for an afternoon of reptilian adventure! Children will create their own fossil cast and mold, play a dinosaur discovery game to learn how big dinosaurs really were, and even participate in a real Indiana fossil dig!

Families can peer through a microscope to see tiny fossils and trace their feet inside a life-sized tyrannosaurus rex footprint, with the help of paleontologist, Rick Flueguman, from Ball State University.

Families will also have a chance to explore the current Dinosaur Revolution: LIVE LARGE exhibit at Minnetrista that includes reptilian role-play activities, uncovering facts about these enormous animals, and unearthing a shocking discovery: dinosaurs may not be extinct!

Mark your calendars for Family Fun Day at Minnetrista: Dino Day on November 10, from noon to 4 p.m.! Cost is $5 and members and kids 3 and under are free.
