Seniors, enjoy a thrilling performance from Ford’s Theatre on Senior Free-Admission Day

Muncie, IN— Could Abraham Lincoln’s assassination have been stopped? Minnetrista Theatre Preserves grapples with this question in ONE DESTINY by Richard Hellesen. On Wednesday, August 1 at 2 p.m., seniors can enjoy this 35-minute performance for free.

ONE DESTINY was written by a New York playwright and has been performed exclusively by Ford’s Theatre and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. This summer marked the first time ONE DESTINY was available in Indiana and Ohio.

Seniors 60 and older will enjoy free admission to Minnetrista all day on this date. This is also an opportunity for seniors to view all of Minnetrista’s exhibits for free, including Abraham Lincoln: The Image and Away From Home: Civil War Letters, a multimedia exhibit that journeys through the Civil War using letters from real soldiers and the families they left at home. Visitors can come for a few hours, stay all day, or just attend the performance of ONE DESTINY.

No reservations are needed for this program. This Senior Free Admission Day is sponsored by Westminster Village Muncie.

Minnetrista Theatre Preserves is available for bookings of ONE DESTINY through August 31, Monday through Friday. This performance can be used for special events, summer reading programs or for a family program. To book your performance, please contact Josh Moore at 765-287-3529.
