Muncie, IN— Pack a picnic, spread out a blanket, and get ready to celebrate! Minnetrista welcomes you and your family to the East Lawn for the second installment of Summer Stage Fest at Minnetrista on Wednesday, July 4 at 8 p.m. America’s Hometown Band will perform all your favorite patriotic tunes to celebrate the Fourth of July! Stay after the performance and you’ll have front-row seats to an amazing fireworks display by the city of Muncie (weather permitting).

Minnetrista is the perfect place to spend Independence Day surrounded by music, nature, history and art. Visit Farmers Market from 3:30–6 p.m. for fresh local produce, plants, baked goods and more. Visitors can also explore the grounds and gardens at Minnetrista for free.

Take advantage of free admission to all Minnetrista’s exhibits from 5:30–7:30 on this day. Visit Minnetrista’s newest exhibit, Away From Home: Civil War Letters, for an in-depth look into the lives of Civil War soldiers through real letters and photographs.
