Seniors enjoy “Coffee in the Courtyard” at Minnetrista with Senior Free Admission Day

Muncie, IN— Are you looking for a good excuse to get out of the house and into this beautiful summer weather? Seniors, 60 and older, are invited to visit Orchard Courtyard at Minnetrista on Saturday, June 16 to enjoy coffee, cooking presentations and good company! Enjoy the hustle and bustle of Farmers Market at Minnetrista on a summer Saturday morning while taking in the sights and sounds of your community.

Local American Culinary Federation chefs will present seniors with tips for cooking healthy meals using fresh produce. Demonstrations will be at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. From 8 a.m. until noon, seniors can visit Farmers Market to buy their own fresh, local produce to make their own delicious and nutritious meals.

In addition to Coffee in the Courtyard, on this date, seniors can take advantage of free admission to all that Minnetrista has to offer with Senior Free Admission Day.  Seniors can view all of Minnetrista’s exhibits for free, including GLASS: A Juried Art Show, Tucker’s Trials and Lucky’s Back, and the Piecing Together History Tour at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
