Minnetrista offers four week-long summer camps for children of all ages and interests

Muncie, IN— This year Camp Minnetrista will offer children and parents a variety of camp options that fit any schedule, budget and age group.

This year’s camp theme is Inspiring Minds and Feeding Curiosities. Children will learn about an array of topics ranging from food science to time travel to repurposing household items into cool creations! Activities will vary each week and with each age group from Pre-K through sixth grade. Check out the brochure online for descriptions of each day’s programs.

Camps are June 25-29, July 2-6, July 9-13 and July 16-20. Children can attend any or all camp sessions. There is also an option for full-day or half-day camps.

Full day camp runs 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and is $125 for members/$155 for non-members. Half day camps are 8 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m. and cost $75 for members/$90 for non-members.

Extended care is available from 5-6 p.m. and costs $10 per child per day.

Teens also have an opportunity to be involved with Camp Minnetrista by becoming a Jr. Counselor. Teens in grades 7-12 can mentor kids and assist with half-day or full-day camp and will be assigned to one or two weeks of camp based on availability. Training dates and registration for Jr. Counselors can be found at minnetrista.net/camp.

Registration is due one week prior to the camp date. Registrations forms can be found online. Partial scholarships are available. For more information on scholarships or becoming a Jr. Counselor, call Stephanie Dilk at (765) 287-3528.
