Celebrate Spring at Minnetrista!

Muncie, IN— Spring is here! Well, maybe not officially, but Minnetrista is celebrating spring with a fantastic family event—Family Fun Day at Minnetrista: Spring Celebration! Family Fun Day at Minnetrista: Spring Celebration is noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. Admission is $5, or free to Minnetrista members and children 3 and younger.

It wouldn’t be spring without baby animals, Orebaugh Farms and All Wright Farms will share their newest barnyard editions with visitors young and old. You will be able to pet baby bunnies, piglets, lambs, and calves and talk with the farm owners about these little critters. Also, make, decorate, and fly your own kite; explore Minnetrista outside and search for colorful signs of spring; and make a planter and fill it with colorful pansies to take home! Take a walk through Oakhurst Gardens at 1 and 3 p.m. to hear Elisabeth Ball’s poetry.

Casey’s Clubhouse Juried Art Show, Minnetrista’s Annual Juried Art Show & Sale, and Raise the Roof: An Exhibit about Buildings are the current exhibits at Minnetrista and are open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Admission is $5, or free to Minnetrista members and children 3 and under.
