seniors 60 and older. Minnetrista collects and preserves
thousands of items from East Central Indiana history. Get a rare look at some
of the truly unique and unusual items in the Minnetrista Heritage Collection.

Experience: Nixon
July
20; 2–4 p.m.
Learn
about the thirty-seventh President of the United States, Richard Nixon. One of
the most controversial presidents or our time, this is the actual story of the
president who rose to power and reached out to the two great communist powers
of the world at the time, the Soviet Union and China. An open discussion
follows the program.

locally produced veggies, herbs, eggs, and other goods twice a week at Farmers
Market at Minnetrista. Spend your Saturday mornings outdoors with friends and

celebrate the Nation’s birthday at Minnetrista with music from America’s
Hometown Band and front row view of the fireworks display.
Faeries,
Sprites, & Lights at Minnetrista

8–9; 6–9 p.m.
Join
us at Minnetrista for two evenings of mid-summer enchantment during Faeries, Sprites & Lights. Adults
and children, families and friends are invited to partake in a magical
celebration. Keep your eyes peeled for faerie dust, faerie doors, faerie homes,
and perhaps faeries themselves.

come campout in the Nature Area at Minnetrista! Bring your sleeping bags and
learn about nocturnal life. Be ready for a night of fun activities, stories and
of course, camp snacks!

EXHIBITS
Robots–The
Interactive Exhibition
Now–September
11
An
immersive, educational experience based on the 20th Century Fox/Blue
Sky Studios hit movie Robots. The
5,000 square foot, multi-media exhibit combines educational interactives, and
unique displays to create an incredible experience for people of all ages to
learn about robotics.
This exhibition is
produced and toured by GES.
East
Central Indiana Volleyball Exhibit–opening
Now–October
30
The
development of women’s volleyball in East Central Indiana has positively
affected the sport nationally and, literally, around the world. This original
exhibition at Minnetrista celebrates the sport, the players, and the history of
volleyball in ECI. In this exhibit, visitors will explore volleyball in fresh
and interactive ways as they meet players, find out how volleyball has changed
their lives, and then have the opportunity to play the sport.
