An Independence Celebration with America’s Hometown Band

Muncie, IN—Enhancing the cultural spirit and prestige of the community, America’s Hometown Band will ring in Independence Day’s celebration at Summer Stage Fest at Minnetrista, Monday, July 4 at 8 p.m. America’s Hometown Band continues the historical legacy of musical public service that first began in the 1870s with the Lockwood Band in Muncie. The present band formed in 1985 and continues to perform and provide pleasure for the cultural enrichment of the citizens in the community. America’s Hometown Band Director Roger McConnell, together with Philip Cooley, founding member of America’s Hometown Band, and Assistant Director Will Frazier, continue to provide and inspire through their dedication and performances with fellow band members.
