Muncie, IN—Gather outside on the Orchard Shop patio and enjoy a tapas style indulgence for After 5 at Minnetrista: Sampling in the Sun on Wednesday, September 7 at 5:30 p.m. Ensure your seat for this event by registering before Monday, August 29. Cost is $15 per person and all participants must be 21 years of age or older. Join certified chefs Charles Redmon, CEC and Bridgette Kuhns, CC of the American Culinary Federation, East Central Indiana Chapter as they create samples of main dish items and desserts. Most food items will come from vendors of Minnetrista Farmers Market.
Forty-seven energetic and talented youths will fill the stage during Summer Stage Fest at Minnetrista on July 29 and 30 in Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., a production by the Muncie Civic Theatre. Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. brings many memorable educational songs from the animated television shorts of the 1970’s to life in this fun filled performance, made up entirely of a cast of youth from the area community.

Learn about the thirty-seventh President of the United States, Richard Nixon. One of the most controversial presidents or our time, this is the actual story of the president who rose to power and reached out to the two great communist powers of the world at the time, the Soviet Union and China. An open discussion follows the program.
Muncie, IN— Kids! Camp Minnetrista invites you and your friends to spend the night in the Nature Area at Minnetrista. Camp Minnetrista: Night at the Museum hosts an outdoor campout on July15–16, for kids ages eight to twelve. Campers arrive at 7 p.m. on Friday and stay until 9:30 a.m. Saturday after waking and having breakfast. Bring your own sleeping bag, and Minnetrista will supply the tents! Frogs, owls and other critters will create a night-time symphony to fall to sleep by. Learn about the lives and behavior of nocturnal animals; make your own snack, and cook over the campfire; also enjoy storytelling with Lenape Indian legends.
