    Minnetrista is pleased to announce the opening of Dig Set Spike June 18. This exciting exhibit chronicles the regional history of volleyball. In the nation, there are three cities known to produce world-class female volleyball players and extraordinary volleyball coaches for womenís teams: Los Angeles, Chicago, and Muncie. Dig Set Spike celebrates the sport, the players, the coaches, and the history of volleyball in East Central Indiana. In this exhibit, visitors will explore volleyball in fresh and interactive ways as they meet young players and find out how volleyball has changed their lives. Visitors will discover the role this region of Indiana has played in the development of the great American sport of volleyball.

    Today Minnetrista announced the launch of Blue Star Museums, a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and more than 1,300 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2011.
