The Permaculture Garden is open to all community members who want to help the Permaculture Initiative maintain this project and other future projects.

October 4 is Super Saturday at Minnetrista. This event includes Farmers Market at Minnetrista, from 8 a.m. to noon, and Family Fun Day at Minnetrista: Keep It Cool, from noon to 4 p.m.
“Family Fun Day at Minnetrista: Keep It Cool is a great and inexpensive opportunity to discover small changes you can make at home that have a big impact on our earth,” said Allison Schroer, Visitor Experience manager. “From saving energy to recycling practice, escape work with a day of play that’s fun for kids of all ages.”
Family Fun Day, as well as current exhibit Water’s Extreme Journey, are included in the general admission of $5.

During the workshop on Saturday, October 11, from 1 to 4 p.m., explore what types of plants produce reliable seeds, as well as how to collect, process, and store them.

Experience the “Flags of Honor Field,” a ‘sea’ of red, white, and blue as more than a thousand American flags adorn Minnetrista’s Greensward beside the White River Greenway.
