Mind Your Manners

9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Grades 3–5
Spend the day learning the history, practicality and modern uses of manners. Students will be examine their own behavior in a brand new way…through “proper” snacks, interaction with performers and faux pas avoidance training, your kids will have to learn to MIND THEIR MANNERS!
What will my students do?
Visit the “Good Manners” exhibit
Watch a short related skit as performed by Minnetrista Theatre Preserves
Get an etiquette lesson with a provided snack
Gain an understanding of the history of manners and customs
And more!
What will my students learn?
How to eat “correctly”
Understand the reasons behind common etiquette practices
Identify common etiquette myths
Use preserved specimens and models to better understand the “real things”
