My daughter is 14 now, but every time we drive past the gardens of Minnetrista she lights up. She tells me the story of when her God-parents and their daughter took her to Faeries, Sprites & Lights - she was just 5 or 6 years old at the time. She recalls the faeries grabbing her hand and taking her to dance through the woods with them. She came home with a giant smile and glitter all over her face. She talked a-mile-minute (I guess some things never change). Her God-parents live in Michigan and we only see them at Christmas, but she always retells that story of the dancing with the faeries. I wish I could have seen it! We try to come to the event each year. I love to see the wonder in young children's eyes as they see the magical enchantment unfold in front of them. Even I get caught up in the magical moments, though it embarrasses the kids to see me dance with the faeries! That makes it even more fun!!!blog comments powered by Disqus
