WEEK THREE! July 19-23
Morning (8 a.m. - noon)
Casey's Clubhouse (Grades 1–3)Casey wants you to be an explorer too! Casey has a clubhouse at Minnetrista and uses it to explore nature, history, gardens, and art. Follow in Casey's footsteps this week as we use our senses to learn about the world of Minnetrista. Use real exploration tools such as nets, magnifying glasses, and binoculars. Kids will record findings in a field journal, hike, go fishing, and complete the cyberchase summer challenge!
Attic Archaeology (Grades 4–6)Do you like exploring old things? Kids will reconstruct a picture of how people lived through their artifacts. While investigating items people have thrown out or left behind—old tools, animal bones, glassware, photographs—Learn to tell stories about what life was like here in Muncie long ago. Kids will love developing their own attic box of artifacts!

Afternoon (1 - 5 p.m.)
Elisabeth's Toy Chest (Grades 1–3)
What did kids like you do 100 years ago? A young girl named Elisabeth lived and played in the grounds of what is now Minnetrista. Campers will imagine they lived around 1900 and find out what toys they would have played with, what they would have done in the gardens, and what games they would have played.

Glass Working (Grades 4–6)Making glass art is fun! Back by popular demand, this exciting camp teaches kids the techniques for making glass art. Solder, cut, etch, enamel, fuse, and design a unique piece of glass art. Limited space in this class.
