Minnetrista collects memories. Currently, our primary focus is veterans, especially from the World War II era. For this project, Minnetrista has partnered with the Library of Congress and its Veterans History Project. The mission of the Veterans History Project is to collect and archive the personal recollections of U.S. wartime veterans to honor their service and share their stories with current and future generations. In addition, Minnetrista is working with the local public broadcasting station, WIPB, to collect the stories of those who served at home during WWII. Some of these memories will be featured in WIPB programming. All will be archived at Minnetrista.
